The rapidly increasing demand for their products and has created the need for them to hire a Sr. Product Design / Development Engineer.
The best person for this role will have excellent communication skills, strong mechanical engineering technical background with proven experience in designing metal-based products for industrial applications.

Experience in Product and Mechanism Design
Preferred – Direct Management or Leadership of Product Development Engineering Teams
Machining / Forging / Casting / Injection Molding Design Experience
Ability to develop and manage the product development process including timeline management
Experience and Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution is required.
Minimum 7 years of product design related experience is required with a proven track record of mechanical engineering and product design excellence.
Have a thorough knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals, to include: machined / cast metal components, metal mechanical properties, fabrication processes, and design mechanisms.
Working comprehension of ISOxxxx or similar.
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project).
Experience working cross functionally across an organization.
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and facilitation skills.
Results oriented that can drive the necessary activities to meet goals.
Six sigma green belt / black belt.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, including 5S principles.
Experience in developing parts and assemblies in 3D CAD.
Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA), Tolerance Analysis.
Experience in product testing and failure analysis.
