Job Title: Account Manager Account Manager Job Summary: Seeking Technical Sales Professionals, Paper Process Engineers, Paper Production Managers, or Paper Superintendents with Engineering or Paper Science backgrounds to be an Account Manager leading on-site sales and service efforts associated with specialty chemical additives used in paper mills. This sales territory will support mills in the NE region of FL. The ideal candidate will have strong papermaking and/or wet end chemistry experience and sales experience or have the desire and aptitude to pursue a career in technical sales/service. Prior paper processing experience is a must. Our client is a global specialty chemical supplier to the Paper Industry and offers the best technical training and professional development available in the industry. Account Manager Requirements: B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Pulp and Paper Science, or other related technical degree. 5+ years experience in the Pulp and/or Paper industry in Production/Operations, Process Engineer, Production Engineering or some other Technical Service/Support role. Strong experience with or exposure to papermaking, pulp production, wet end chemistry, specialty chemicals, paperboard, fine paper, newsprint, or various other grades of paper/board is a plus. Experience with or exposure to chemistries such as flocculants, coagulants, dye fixatives, sizing, wet/dry strength resins, biocides, defoamers, deposit control, felt conditioning/cleaning is a plus. Prior experience selling products/services directly to papermakers. Strong mechanical aptitude and process problem solving skills. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships. Entrepreneurial drive and passion to succeed. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Valid driver s license with good driving record. Minimal overnight travel is required.
