Reports to: Financial Center Manager
Operations - Customer Service - Teller Supervisor General Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to assist First Commerce in fulfilling our Vision to Be Our Member's Financial Partner for Life. This is achieved through delivering Remarkable Member (Customer) Service as defined by our Service Values. Building and maintaining strong member relationships is accomplished through identification of member's (customer's) financial needs and effectively transacting or recommending appropriate products and services to meet those needs. Primary duties include coaching, developing and training all teller and member (customer) service staff, supervising daily teller activities and overseeing operational functions such as vault supply, Fed order, and safe deposit.

Operations:
Works with Financial Center Manager to coordinate all teller and member (customer) service representative scheduling, overseeing appropriate breaks, lunches, and personal leave time
Monitors teller overtime in accordance with annual goals and objectives
Orders, verifies, and manages adequate supply of currency for assigned financial center and adheres to vault policies & cash handling procedures and individual drawer limits
Maintains an adequate supply of check stock and other weekly teller supplies for assigned financial center
Customer Service:
Performs all teller functions inlcuding assisting with member (customer) service when needed
Superviosr:
Works with each assigned teller to insure continuous training, coaching and development of teller and member (customer) service staff.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of teller experience in a credit union or bank, or relevant experience at First Commerce Credit Union.
Skills:
Proficiency with data processing system in order to provide technical assistant to the Teller Department.
Knowledge of Federal Reserve cash breakdown procedures and established teller cash drawer operations.
Knowledge of all products and services offered by the credit union.
Ability to provide consistently remarkable member (customer) service.
Sharply honed organizational, time management, and oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
