POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Clinical Psychologist: Degree in Psychology (Ph.D./Psy.D.) from an accredited educational institution. Two years of post-doctoral supervised clinical experience in multidisciplinary mental health setting
Clinical Psychologist Summary: Responsible for providing a range of clinically appropriate services to adults in Long Term Care.
Clinical Psychologist:
Provides a variety of treatment services including individual, group, and family therapy.
Provides clinical services such as intake/diagnostic evaluations, and crisis intervention.
Participates as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
Maintains clinical records in accordance with insurance regulations and established COTLER policies and procedures
The Clinical Psychologist has the ability to provide clinically sound treatment services based on client needs and treatment plans
Demonstrates understanding of diagnostic evaluation methods, mental status exams, and use of the DSM-V
Has the ability to respond to a range of clients' needs using differential diagnoses and treatment approaches
Has the ability to provide appropriate crisis intervention services
Has the ability to maintain secure clinical records in timely compliance with Company policies and procedures
The Clinical Psychologist demonstrates understanding of sound ethical practice in conjunction with the established and defined ethics of one's training and discipline.
Has the ability to effectively organize time and responsibilities
