Macy is a happy, low-key 8-month-old yellow lab/basset hound mix female. She is playful, but not hyperactive. She likes to take walks and spend time with her human companion. Macy gets along well with cats and other dogs. Macy is house trained and crate trained. She is past the puppy stage, but she still requires toys and chew items when she is entertaining herself. She is currently undergoing treatment for a mild skin condition, but she will be completely healthy with a beautiful fur coat shortly. She is very loyal and knows basic commands like ?sit,? ?stay,? and ?leave it.? Macy is eager to please and easy to train. She has an amazing ability to find water and its source wherever she goes, so Macy would be good to take on outdoor adventures like hiking or camping. She is well suited for a single adult, family with children, or a senior adult. Macy's adoption fee is $250.00 Like all Leon County Humane Society dogs, this one is already spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and tested free of heartworms.
