This handsome purebred liver and white Brittany Spaniel was obviously NOT happy when left at a very high kill shelter in Georgia recently. He was brought in by his owner, who we suspect was his breeder and who also left his AKC papers there with him. Freckles is three years old, 44 pounds, and just gorgeous - a sweet, quiet boy who is friendly and good with other dogs of all sizes. He does like to bark at cats, though. While he will follow you everywhere, he is not demanding, needy or clingy. He is well-behaved, comes right away when called, rides well in the car, is house-broken and should do well with children. A home with a fenced yard would be best for him, even though he is leash-trained, as this breed needs exercise. Freckles has been neutered, micro-chipped, wormed and vaccinated, plus is negative for heartworms (currently on preventative). He's all ready to have a new family to adore him and vice-versa!
