Ruby is a sweet "mature" Boxer reputed to be 10 years of age. Yet there is a lot of life in this gal. While certainly more laid back than your younger Boxer (but what dog isn't?), Ruby is affectionate, enjoys interacting with both human and canine companions and seems to enjoy life in general. Searching for squirrels in the yard is one of her favorite activities and she is making friends through the fence with the horses next door. She would be a great companion for someone who loves the "Boxer personality", but isn't up for the energy of a younger one. She is exceptionally well-mannered and responds readily to commands. Other than pulling on the leash a bit, she clearly has had training in the past. While she needs some minor medical care, she will soon be ready for adoption to a loving home that thinks senior dogs are special, because clearly Ruby is a special girl. Ruby is being fostered by Trula in Tallahassee.
