Hi, my name is Sydney, and I?m a Border Collie mix. The vet?s office thinks I?m about 5 years old. I?m a wee bit alpha, but a verbal reprimand clears that right up, because I so desperately want to please, and belong. Now that I know my place at my foster home, I?m never a butt head. I don?t bite, but I do get a little bit testy if someone grabs me out of nowhere, so I?d probably not be a good bet for a home with small children. I?m fine with other dogs. I absolutely love my current Aussie brother, but, sadly, he?s not into playing with me. I really wish he was. I keep trying to get him to play. I?m not real into toys yet, and I?d need supervision around a cat for awhile before you could trust me, but I learn really quickly. I?m house broken and crate trained. I know sit all of the time, and down most of the time. I pull a little bit on the leash, but off lead I come when you call me. I crave attention, will put my head in your lap, will slowly sneak the rest of me into your lap, give you great hugs, and will practically beg for your sweet words. I latch onto one person as my person. Thunderstorms scare me, but as long as I?m safe in my crate, I?m okay. My foster Mom says that I?m a sweet, SWEET, girl, and she tells me that she loves me often. Look into my filled with love, mismatched eyes?and you?ll fall for me too. Won?t you be my forever home? I?ll love you forever and a day, and I?ll be your very best friend. Sydney's adoption fee is $200.00.
Like all Leon County Humane Society dogs, this one is already spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and tested free of heartworms.
